The faculty of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning (DURP), College of Social Sciences, the University of Hawai`i at Mānoa, have unanimously voted to honor Tom Dinell for his many contributions to Planning, Education, the University of Hawaii, and the community during a career spanning 60 years.

Please join us in celebrating the beginnings and growth of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning through five remarkable decades (1970-2017) as we launch our own alumni association, The DURP Ohana, with past and current students, faculty, staff, colleagues, and friends. Aloha attire.

Share our exploration of how DURP began and where we are going: past and current community-based projects, plans and policies; and celebrate the scholarships and awards being presented by DURP this year:
